Best Real Estate Memory

My best real estate memory is the first deal I worked on as a newly licensed agent back in 1999. The property was a large vacant lot sitting across the street from a Target in a great location. I wanted to understand why the property was still vacant so I looked up the owner and found out they lived in France so they weren’t easy to reach. I sent them a heartfelt letter and a couple months later received a call from the owner. Over the next year we developed a relationship through correspondence where I understood their goals and eventually listed the property for sale to a developer. That was my first win-win-win for my client, the developer, and the local community.
