Michael Dennis Reeves is a driven, creative commercial real estate practitioner with Adams Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta. Embarking on commercial real estate brokerage as a third career in 2007, he is in his 15 th year with Adams.

Reeves is an experienced entrepreneur, business operator, and developer. As a key partner in three start-ups, he understands the complexity and the critical path of moving businesses forward and the importance that real estate plays in the growth process. He prides himself on in-depth understanding of the cycles of real estate and knowing where the market is in that cycle, identifying today’s opportunities and tomorrow values.

Utilizing these experiences Reeves has become an expert on in-town Atlanta redevelopment, adaptive- reuse, and land sales. Specifically, he has focused geographically within a 7-mile radius of downtown This area of expertise includes the City of Decatur, the Memorial Drive corridor, Lee St and the Beltline. As a Commercial Realtor he has successfully advised and represented clients in over $35 million in transactions over the last two years.

Reeves engages client relationships with developers looking for in-town opportunities, with property owners looking for the highest and best use for sale and business owners looking to operate near the city core.

A Chicagoan, Reeves graduated from Lake Forest Academy and matriculated to Amherst College. After graduation, Reeves started his career as an GE Financial Management Program recruit and graduate in Stamford CT at GE Capital Headquarters, and from there he was transferred to Atlanta with GE.

Michael serves as an Officer of the Georgia CCIM Chapter and has been on the Board for over eight years. He serves on the CCIM Institutes Strategic Planning Committee. He is also a Board Director for the Freedom Park Conservancy and serves on the Master Planning Steering Committee. When he is not at the office or touring properties, you may find him walking his dog Gracie on the Freedom Parkway Trail or cycling with his spouse Elaine on the Beltline Eastside Trail. He is also member of the Inman Park and Old Fourth Ward Neighborhood Associations.
